How does my Team qualify for this event?
There are four ways your Team can qualify for this awesome event:
1. By finishing in First Place (Division Champions) or Second Place (Division Finalists) at one of the 2010 North American Qualifiers in Las Vegas, Edmonton, Toronto, Montréal or Vancouver.
2. By finishing in First Place (Division Champions) or Second Place
(Division Finalists) at the
2009-10 ASHL Regional Championships in Burnaby, Saskatoon, Oakville or Scarborough.
3. By finishing in First Place (Division Champions) at your 2009 or 2010 ASHL Spring / Summer Facility Championships.
4. By winning a NAQ or ASHL Regional Wild Card entry.

Who can participate in this event?
Every Player from your qualifying roster is eligible to participate in this event. In addition, ASHL Teams are permitted to assign up to six (6) substitute Players to their North American Championship roster. These additional Players must also meet one of the following requirements:
- They were an ASHL member of your Fall / Winter 2009-10, Fall / Winter 2010-11, Spring / Summer 2009, or Spring / Summer 2010 Team roster AND they met all playoff eligibility standards for that season (refer to the ASHL Rule Book Sections 2.4),
- They were an ASHL member on another Team during the Fall / Winter 2009-10, Fall / Winter 2010-11, Spring / Summer 2009 or Spring / Summer 2010 Team roster AND they met all playoff eligibility standards that season (refer to the ASHL Rule Book Sections 2.4).
All NAQ Teams are permitted to assign up to three (3) substitute players to their North American Championship roster.
Note: final roster deadline is Friday, April 29th, 2011. No changes will be accepted after this date.
How much does it cost to enter this event?
The North American Championship Team entry fee varies according to the level of qualification. There are three (3) levels of qualification for ASHN Teams and six (6) levels of qualification for ASHL Teams:

ASHN Teams
1. ASHN North American Qualifier Division Champions = $750 entry fee
2. ASHN North American Qualifier Division Finalists = $1,000 entry fee
3. ASHN Wild Card Team = $1,250 entry fee

ASHL Teams
1. ASHL Fall / Winter Regional Division Champions = FREE entry fee plus a $1000 Hotel Voucher (please note a $500 security deposit is required to reserve your spot)
2. ASHL Fall / Winter Regional Division Finalists = $500 entry fee
3. ASHL Spring / Summer Regional Division Champions = FREE entry fee (please note a $500 security deposit is required to reserve your spot)
4. ASHL Spring / Summer Regional Division Finalists = $500 entry fee
5. ASHL Spring / Summer Facility Division Champions = $750 entry fee
6. ASHL Wild Card Team = $750 entry fee

Where can I find discounted hotel and travel information for this event?
All teams registering for the 2011 North American Championships will be required to book their accommodations at one of our host hotels. Once your final roster and hotel reservations have been confirmed, the final schedule will be posted.

When will the schedule be ready?
The 2011 North American Championship schedule will be available thirty (30) days before the tournament (pending confirmation of room bookings and receipt of final rosters).
All Teams should expect to play one game per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Playoff games will be held on Friday, May 27th. All Championship games will be scheduled for Saturday, May 28th.
NAC Teams may request one complimentary hour of daytime ice on Monday, May 23rd. Please note that ice time is subject to availability and will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
