2010 North American Championships
May 25th – 29th in Montréal, QC

The games may have ended but the memories will last a lifetime…

Brossard, QC – 39 Teams took part in the second annual ASHN North American Championships which took place at Canlan Ice Sports – Les 4 Glaces in Montréal. The tournament began on Tuesday, May 25th and concluded with 9 championship games on Saturday, May 29th.

Photographers, videographers and vendors were present which added to the experience for all the players, families and friends in attendance. The Monster Energy Drink girls handed out free drinks each day, PowerAde ION4 had a special demonstration of soccer tricks in the parking lot (and, of course, free PowerAde) on Thursday & Friday and ex-NHL’er Vincent Damphousse even made a special appearance on Friday—signing  Player-of-the-Game pucks, NAC ball caps for participants, attendees and facility staff members!

All in all, it made for another successful event. I truly hope the players enjoyed their time at the 2010 NAC as much as our team enjoyed seeing our customers and their family and friends.  If you weren’t able to join us, be sure to ask us how you can qualify for the 2011 North American Championships (which will be hosted by Canlan Ice Sports – Burnaby 8 Rinks from May 24th - 28th, 2011). If you’ve already qualified be sure to register early because space is limited!

Thank you to all the staff at Canlan Ice Sports – Les 4 Glaces, ASHL Managers Jim Taylor (Scarborough, ON), Dave Senger (Regina, SK) and Nicolas Fortier (Brossard, QC) as well as all Canlan Ice Sports employees who helped spread the word and to improve the NAC experience; without your support none of this would have been possible.

The 2010 NAC has come and gone with great games on the ice, new memories off it and some newly-formed friendships. Here now are your 2010 North American Champions:
